I have given private didgeridoo lessons for a few years now and learnt a lot. I really enjoy sharing my passion for the instrument with other people and seeing their progress. The advantage of my lessons is that I can teach you many things and you will never be be bored. The rhythmic and fast playing in particular presents many challenges.
However, if you'd prefer to play meditative and for your own well-being, that's also totally fine. I can just as well guide you on this path and give you many tips. I also don't play fast and percussive all the time. The didgeridoo is perfect to slow down and take time for youself in this busy world. Furthermore, playing the didgeridoo is excercising your diaphragm, your mouth and your jaw muscles. It helps against snorring and according to one study even against sleep apnoe. So it's not only good for your soul, but also for your body!
I can be your didgeridoo teacher for a long time, from the beginner stage all the way to very advanced playing. So what are you waiting for? Just contact me
if you are interested!
I also want to give workshops for groups. Information about upcoming workshops
you can find
here.
I am not as experienced in giving handpan lessons as I am for the digeridoo, but I can definitely introduce people to the instrument and be their guide for the first steps. I think that everyone has to find their own way of playing the handpan in the end. Of course I could show you some techniques and some of my patterns to give you some ideas, but it is you and your connection to the instrument that influcences the music you create with it the most.
If you want private lessons with me, it is best to already own a handpan. I could possibly provide an instrument for the practise, but we'd have to discuss that beforehand.
I'd also like to give workshops, but am still in the planning phase, mainly regarding the availability of instruments. Once there are workshops, you will find more information (location, date etc.) on the page Concerts/Workshops.
Just get in contact
with me if you are interested in playing the handpan!
